Fullday for Android reads the overnight HRV, resting heart rate and sleep that your watch or ring saves to Health Connect, and turns them into a free recovery score against your own 30-day normal. Coming to Google Play.

What it reads
Health Connect is Android's shared health store. Fullday asks once for what it needs, and you can change each permission in Health Connect at any time.
Heart rate variability your device saves overnight. Readings from 8 pm to 10 am are averaged into one number for the morning, and it counts for the most in Recovery.
Below your normal counts in your favour; above it counts against you.
Your nights, with their stages when your device records them: light sleep shows as Core, beside Deep, REM and Awake.
Steps for your day, active calories for Strain, and workouts other apps save to Health Connect.

Any watch or ring whose app saves sleep and heart data to Health Connect. Fullday doesn't connect to the device itself.
In your watch or ring's app, look for Health Connect in its settings and turn on sharing for sleep, heart rate, HRV and resting heart rate.
Recovery needs overnight heart data. Nights without the device on your wrist or finger have no overnight HRV to read.
Not every device saves HRV to Health Connect. Then Recovery is worked out from what is there: resting heart rate and last night's sleep.
Health Connect is part of Android 14 and later. On Android 9 to 13, install the Health Connect app from Google Play first. Fullday asks to read your history too, where Health Connect offers it; without that, Android lets an app read only the 30 days before you first gave it access.
Fullday for Android works Recovery out with the same maths as the iPhone app.
Last night set against the 30 days before it: your own last month, not an average of other people.
Recovery from 1 to 99: Take it easy, Steady and Recovered. Beside it, Strain from 0 to 21 and Sleep from 0 to 100. What strain means
Health Connect stores HRV as RMSSD; Apple Health stores SDNN. Each is only ever compared with itself, so your normal is always built from the same measure. SDNN and RMSSD
More detail on how the three readings combine: recovery on Apple Watch, the same score on iPhone.
Right after you give Fullday access, it reads the history Health Connect already holds and shows "Your day, today".
Recovery, Strain and Sleep, each with one plain sentence that names your readings and your normals, such as how last night's HRV compares with your 30-day normal.
No overnight data yet? It says what's missing and when your first score will arrive, and shows what's already there, such as workouts and steps.
Every line describes your numbers against your own normal. Nothing on it is medical advice.
The scores are free, with no time limit. Pro adds the coaching on them.
