AI and tech

Smart on your phone. AI when you ask.

Most of what Fullday works out happens on your iPhone and Apple Watch, with Apple's own frameworks. Two features use Claude by Anthropic, and only when you choose to send something.

An example AI meal estimate: grilled chicken breast 248 kcal, white rice 208 kcal, steamed broccoli 32 kcal, teriyaki sauce 32 kcal marked Check, sparkling water; Log 5 items, 520 kcal.
An example coach answer to How did my last two weeks go?: average sleep against the 7 to 9 hours adults need, one change to try, and its sources, CDC and AASM.

With Claude by Anthropic

Two features, and you decide what goes.

Both ask before the first time, show what they'll send, and keep nothing on Fullday's server.

AI meal-photo estimates

Snap your plate. Check the estimate. Log it.

Claude estimates each food and drink in the photo with a portion, calories and macros, including oil and sauce you can't see. Anything it's unsure of is marked Check, and you confirm every amount before anything is logged.

  • 3 free estimates a week without Pro, on iPhones that can prove the request comes from the real app
  • With Pro, up to 5 a day and 60 a month
  • Only the photo goes out: no name, no account, no health data
  • Fullday's server keeps no copy; Anthropic uses it only to answer and deletes it after a limited time

Ask your coach PRO

Ask about your last two weeks.

A conversation about your sleep, food, training and recovery. Answers draw on a summary of your last 14 days and public health guidance, carry one to three sources and a label for how strong the evidence is, and say when something needs a doctor.

  • Up to 20 questions a day and 100 a month with Pro
  • Before your first question it shows exactly the summary it will send, and asks. Cycle data is never sent
  • Chats stay in memory on your phone: never saved, never synced. The server stores nothing
  • General guidance with sources, not medical advice. No diagnoses, no medication or supplement doses

Estimates are estimates, and the coach gives general guidance, not medical advice. Days and months for the limits reset at midnight UTC.

On your iPhone and Apple Watch

The rest happens on the device.

These run on your iPhone or Apple Watch, with Apple's frameworks. Nothing here needs an account or a server.

  • Live barcode scanner

VisionKit finds the barcode as you point the camera, then the product's score appears. Free.

  • Reads nutrition labels PRO

Point the camera at a Nutrition Facts panel. Apple's Vision text recognition reads it on the phone.

  • On-device suggestions

On the meal-photo screen, a classifier on your phone suggests what the food might be without sending the photo anywhere.

  • Voice logging

Say what you ate. Apple's speech recognition runs on the phone whenever it can. On Apple Watch you dictate, and your iPhone finds the foods.

  • Snoring and sleep talk PRO

Apple's Sound Analysis listens on your iPhone overnight, if you turn it on. No sound is uploaded.

  • Smart wake

In the 10 to 30 minutes before your alarm, Apple Watch wakes you when you start to stir. Free.

  • Scores on the watch

Your morning Recovery, Strain and Sleep are worked out on Apple Watch itself. Free.

  • Bluetooth sensors

Heart-rate straps, power meters, speed and cadence sensors and footpods pair with your iPhone. Free.

  • Calories that can't be right

Impossible nutrition data is caught on the phone before it reaches your day. Free.

Coaching you can check

Every call names its sources.

Whether it comes from Claude or from Fullday's own rules, a coaching line in Fullday tells you which guideline or study it rests on, so you can read the research yourself.
